QUESTIONS?

What states do you operate in?

Currently, Xtreme Machinery transports heavy equipment and machinery in the state of Iowa.

Do you haul small freight or less than truckload (LTL) shipments?

Yes! Xtreme Machinery transports small equipment, such as skid steers and forklifts. We are here to provide top-quality shipping solutions no matter how big or how small your equipment is.

Can you acquire permits and pilot cars?

Absolutely! As a full-service logistics company, we are a one-stop transport shop! We provide permits, pilot cars, and even load assistance. At Xtreme Machinery we want you to have the best transport experience available.

How do you load non-running vehicles or equipment with no wheels? How much does it cost?

We have loading services available. They are always on standby with cranes and boom trucks to get your equipment loaded on a trailer. Costs vary and are factored into your overall transport rate.

Can you arrange same-day pickups?

Of course. Our mission is to provide you with the best transport experience possible.  If you need a same-day pickup, we are going to find a way to make it happen.

How much does it cost?

The cost of transporting depends on how far it needs to be shipped. Pricing also depends on whether you choose open transport or enclosed transport. If you aren’t sure what shipping method is right, an experienced vehicle shipping agent will be able to help you choose the right method for your needs.

Does the total weight of a shipment matter?

Any transport agent can tell you that the total weight of a shipment matters, both in terms of pricing and the type of transport used. Transports over a certain weight require more specialized driver certifications as well as transport vehicles with a greater towing capacity. When we know the weight and the dimensions of a given transport, we can give you a better idea of the total transport cost.

Does Xtreme Machinery provide insurance?

Yes. We are a licensed and insured company, meaning that we carry insurance for the equipment we ship. In the unlikely event something happens to your equipment during transport, we will file a claim with our insurance rather than with your insurance.

The average shipping time depends on the distance. The time frame breaks down to pick up window and delivery time.

The pick-up window in general is 1-5 business days from the date the vehicle is ready to be shipped (see First Available Date). Be aware that it might take longer to get a trucker assigned if the pick-up location is in a rural / remote area. The delivery time after pick up depends on the distance.
